Join us to celebrate Veterans Day with this 61 mile, vigorous-paced ride (19mph) from Magnuson Park to Everett and return.
Meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club headquarters (a former US Navy machine and tool room). All hands on deck at 0900 for a pre-ride brief, then we're underway at 0915.
Only steady rain in the AIR will FORCE a ride cancellation. Depending on the weather conditions, we'll make a decision at the 20 mile point to shorten the route to 43 miles, or SOLDIER on for the full 61.
Our goal will be to stay together, regrouping at the top of bigger climbs, and then COAST, GUARDedly down the descents.
Stopping in Everett for a cup of Joe and a ration of biscuit at Petite Sweet, we will continue our route via MARINE View Drive past the NAVY station. Maybe we'll get a glimpse of a warship at the wharf? Completing our route will take us via Martha Lake, throuth Brier, and back to homeport.
We'll also limit speed to 15mph on multi-use paths.

- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
