Come join the Goosebumps group on our annual Whidbey Island Loop. Due to parking restrictions in Mukilteo, this year we'll start in Legion Park in Everett and ride to the ferry in Mukilteo. We'll roll out at 8:00 sharp for the 9:00 ferry. Please arrive ~30 minutes early to sign in, meet and greet, etc. We advise buying your tickets on the Washington State Ferry website to avoid lining up with cars. Those who do so can ride directly to the ferry terminal.
We will be riding our tandem for this ride. Other tandems in addition to the usual singles would be most welcome.
RideWithGPS mapping adds in the distance traveled by the ferry. To avoid having our cue sheets off by this amount, we've divided the route in two: one from Legion Park to the ferry, and another from Clinton back to Legion Park. RideWithGPS will also show more elevation than this route really has, due to the several tall bridges we'll take.
We will ride our usual route including Clinton, Coupeville, Deception Pass, lunch in La Conner and back to Legion Park. This is always a fun and interesting ride. And it's great training for the more difficult summer rides such as the one-day STP. You'll need ferry fare if you don't purchase online, lunch money, and the tubes, tools, etc. necessary for self-sufficiency.
What to Know Before You Go

- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
