Leisurely Urbane Matthews-beach Pedalers (LUMPS)

LUMPS rides start from Matthews Beach Park in north Seattle. Rides generally follow the Burke Gilman trail (BGT) north or south at steady, moderate or an occasional leisurely paced ride. Rides most frequently occur during mornings through afternoon with seasonal evening holiday light rides. Routes and mileages vary but generally range from 15 to 50 miles. The terrain tends to be flat with some rolling hills. This is the home of the Cascade Bike Club’s (CBC) weekly Pie Ride. LUMPS rides are a great match for those looking for some exercise and fresh air. They occur throughout the year, based on ride leader schedule and availability.
