Join us for a challenging grunt of an evening ride on paved, gravel, and dirt trails. Bikes should be able to have tires that can ride safely on gravel and dirt trails. This a very hilly route through the scenic the trails of Tolt Pipeline, Tolt Powerline, Redmond Watershed, and Sammamish River trails. This ride offers a variety of trails ranging from paved trails along a river, wide gravel trails along farmlands, and forested double wide single track.
Starting at Northshore Athletic Field gravel parking lot: 14735 NE 145th St, Woodinville, WA 98072. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace and our goal will be to regroup often at the top of hills. This is a Moderate Paced ride of 14-16 MPH but hills will cause pace to be slower or faster. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum. Average overall pace will be about 11 mph because of terrain.
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop to take pictures when there are opportunities for a group picture.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Bring a charged light!
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
