  • Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Let's work off that turkey dinner!

We will meet at the parking lots right after entering at the main east entrance. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, but we will stay together otherwise. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).

Restrooms are available within 1 mile of the start and finish of the ride. We will stop along the way for coffee an cake, as well as a restroom break at Hess Bakery. This will be within 2 miles of the finish.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is canceled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.

Hello there, 

This is your intrepid ride leader, Manu. I wanted to let you guys know what I mean by "Beginner". My main focus will be for beginners to enjoy the ride and get excited about riding. We will stay together and nobody will be left behind, regardless of problem, be it speed, mechanical or wanting to take a picture.

If you want to leave the group during the ride to just get going, let me know. For that reason, I would recommend printing out or downloading the cue sheet. Otherwise, I hope the day will be fun for everybody and that we will have time to chat and eat at Hess Bakery for about 20 minutes..

Looking forward to seeing you at the ride start on Saturday!
