Let's meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club. Be there, ready to go at the time listed above. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Cycling, Seattle, and November you say? How about a good ride with a nice place to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa, warm-up, dry off, and share stories afterward? Cycling the PNW has been such a positive change in my life. I could not imagine how different this area would be if were not for the efforts of the Cascade Bicycle Club. CBC offers a multitude of cycling opportunities as well being a strong voice of advocacy, having a hand in much of the cycling infrastructure we enjoy today. Come ride with me and enjoy some hot cocoa at the Club! *The Hot Cocoa Social is a separate event that you need to register for: Cocoa Rides & Social Hour | Cascade Bicycle Club
This will be a North Lake Washington Loop with minimal trail use.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup, typically at the top of the climbs. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH, occasionally 10 MPH).
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 19.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride. *Also, if the ride is cancelled, the Hot Cocoa Social will still be on! 3-5pm
We hope you can join us!

I'm hoping to get everyone rolling at 1:00 pm to get a little ahead of the incoming rain. We will wait for the posted time of 1:30 for all registrants to be present, if needed. Let's beat the rain! So, if you do not plan on riding, please unregister.
On my way
I'm on the train now. I'll be there before 1:30, but I'm not sure if I will be there by 1.
