Join us for an art tour from the Northgate Light Rail Station on a 9.1 mile route around north Seattle at a Leisurely (10-12 mph average on flat ground) pace!

We will meet outside the ground level entrance of Northgate Light Rail Station (10200 1st Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125). Bike access is from nearby neighborhood greenways including John Lewis Memorial Bridge over I-5. Parking can be found in nearby parking garages. Transit access is from Sound Transit's 1 Line light rail and multiple King County Metro Bus routes with stops outside the station.

Please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that’s done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will visit a total of 9 artworks on this ride at which we will pause to enjoy them and possibly hear a story from the ride leader for a few minutes. We will take a restroom & water break at Green Lake (mile 4.0). There are restrooms near the start in the Northgate light rail station (you may have to ask a security guard for access).

The route is mostly on paved roads and trails with a very short segment on grass.

Please note: this ride is expected to last around 2-3 hours (estimated finish at 12:30 pm).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
