Registration for this ride closed on Friday, June 2, at 9:00 am

Join us at 11:00 am for a 12-mile ride from Blyth Park in Bothell to Woodinville at leisurely pace (10-12mph). We will see some flower displays and walk in a garden that allows the public on the grounds when there is no paid event going on.  (If such an event is in progress, we will make our flower stop at Molbacks in Woodinville.)

Please NOTE: Although there is a shoulder, half the route is on Riverside Drive, a busy road. Also, the gardens don't allow pets, so if you are normally inclined to bring a furry friend along, please leave them at home this time.

Let's meet at the restrooms and please be ready to ride at 11:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms or portable toilets available at the start.  We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Woodinville at mile 8.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.   We will also cancel the ride if there is smoke or precipitation.

Let's check the weather radar and predictions for Bothell and Woodinville to make sure we will have a pleasant and safe ride.  We hope you can join us!

Hello Jan,

Looking forwarding to meeting you and riding with some others.  I have extensive biking experience; yet haven't been on my bike too much in the last 2 years.  Want to meet some new folks and get back in shape for more riding.

Kindly,

Eileen Shults
