Join us for a ride from the Meadowbrook Playfield Park on a 22 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 mph)!

This will be a casual ride around several North-Seattle and north-of-Seattle neighborhoods. We’ll begin the ride at the Meadowbrook Playfields parking lot. The parking lot entrance is on 30th Ave NE near NE 107th Street.

Let's meet in front of the restrooms between the parking lot and baseball diamonds and please be ready to ride at 9:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, regrouping after hills. Our goal will be to stay together.

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 12½.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

I pre-rode this route to check on bathroom and road status and to make appropriate updates. I just wanted to let folks know that while it is posted as "some hills", those hills are big ones. As a reminder, we will stop to regroup at the top of climbs and take regular breaks!

Hi Sandra,

Good question... Elevation gain remains approximately the same. The main change is using a different restroom in Mountlake Terrace because the rec pavilion is closed Sunday. Any additional changes would be if I find an easier alternative to one of the steeper climbs.  The route map (also linked above) will always show the latest/current version:
