Join us for a ride from 60 Acres Park South (Parking Lot) on an approximate 32 mile route at a Moderate pace (14-16 mph)!

We'll head south from 60 Acres Park and ride on the west side of Lake Sammamish to warmup for our hill climb up Montreux! We'll have coffee/snack/oxygen stop at the top of the hill at mile 16. Returning through Bellevue and Redmond, we'll also try to see if the eagles are in their nest along the Sammamish River.

Let's meet at the 60 Acres Park South parking lots and please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. The ride leader has been described as glacially slow on hills but does get to the top (usually).   We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start but not water. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at mile 3.9 as there is no water at the starting location. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at mile 16.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
