Join us for a ride from Meadowbrook Playfield on a 18 mile route at Moderate pace (14-16 mph)!
Enjoy the many sights of North Seattle -- we will spend some time on the Burke Gilman Trail through Sand Point and Laurelhurst, then turn off near Ravenna Park and make our way towards Green Lake. We will do a loop around Green Lake / Phinney and head back north through Wedgwood to end back at Meadowbrook Playfield.
Let's meet at the Meadowbrook Playfield and please be ready to ride at 9am. If the Meadowbreak Playfield parking lot is full, there is plenty of on-street parking nearby, as well as parking at Nathan Hale High School and on the other side of the athletic fields, by the tennis courts.
We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are available at the start. We’ll stop for coffee/pastries, as well as restrooms/water, at Fresh Flours Phinney Ridge at mile 10.4.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Ride Cancelled
Hi all, with rain, snow, and possible thunderstorms in the forecast today, it doesn't sound like the best day to ride outside. I'll try to post this ride another weekend.
