Women's Ride

Please note, this is a Women and Non-binary ride only. W&NB rides are only for individuals that identify as a woman or non-binary, including trans-gender women and cis-gender women. Male identifying riders can support this group best by finding other appropriate rides on the Free Group Rides calendar and leaving this space for W&NB riders.

Join us for a ride from Cascade Bicycle Club on an approximately 16 mile ride at a Steady pace of 12-14 mph.

The ride will start at the north end of Magnuson Park at Cascade Bicycle Club and head out on the Burke Gilman Trail to Log Boom Park in Bothell. This ride directly precedes the HOT COCOA social hour event at Cascade at 3:00 pm.

Let's meet at the Cascade Bicycle Club and please be ready to ride at 1:15 pm. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. Restrooms are available at the start.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

This is a very flat ride and our goal will be to stay together. The ride ends back at Cascade Bike Club for HOT COCOA.

If a rider has a mechanical issue, the group will stop to assist the rider.  If there is a major mechanical issue preventing a roadside fix, the ride leader will ensure the rider has a safe means to return to the start or home. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

If you don’t have full fenders and the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start.

We hope you can join us!
