**NOTE**Snow, ice and slippery conditions will also cancel this ride. Due to fall/winter conditions the start time for this ride is now 11 AM.

Join us for a ride from East Lake Sammamish Trailhead on a 21 mile route at a leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!

Ready your winter bike and join me on a ride on the paved and scenic Eastlake Sammamish Trail with views of the water as we cycle from Redmond to Issaquah. If a section of the trail is closed for development we will head to the road above when necessary. Enjoy a social 1/2 hour break at the Issaquah Coffee Company where you can purchase food and drink. The return route will be on the Eastlake Sammamish Trail. This is an out and back route.

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (Behind Whole Foods) in Redmond at 11:00 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing. We will depart as soon as that's done.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. Speed limits on the multi-use trail will be maintained.

A portable toilet is available at the start near the parking lot. Water and restroom are available at the Whole Foods. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Issaquah Coffee Company at mile 10.6.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Your bike should be in good working order. Please bring a full water bottle and carry on your bike. Helmets are required!

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

One of our riders informed me that the unpaved portion of the trail maybe closed. In that case we'll just head uphill to the road above and cycle in the bike lane.
