Join us on a 29.1-mile ride from Ron Regis to Ristrettos Coffee & Wine at a Moderate pace 14-16 MPH! The pace of this ride is based on having no wind and being on a flat road. If there is a headwind or a hill, the pace will be lower, if we have a tailwind or downhill, the pace may be higher. Keep this in mind when deciding to join this ride.

This is a nice morning ride through Maple Valley, Lake Wilderness and eventually to Ristrettos for a quick coffee stop before winding our way back to our start point.

Let's meet at Ron Regis Park (1501 Orcas Avenue Southeast), be ready to ride at 10:45. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.  We will also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Porta-Potties are available at the start, our next stop will be at Ristrettos at mile 15.6.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Mentoring is available for prospective Ride Leaders with advance notice. We hope you can join us!
