Mentored ride for David Bell !
Please join us for a beautiful route! We'll travel along the water, loop around in Dupont. cross lake Steilacoom and head back via South Tacoma and Tacoma's North End. (route linked below - download or print a cue sheet if desired).
We'll meet at Narrows Park and Ride on 6th Ave (at Skyline/Oxford - adjacent to War Memorial Park) at 8:30am and start riding at 9am, after introductions and brief safety talk.
Pace is moderate - expecting riders to be able to sustain a speed of 14 to 16 mile per hour on flat, windless terrain for about four hours. We will take hills at our own paces and regroup after hills / before turns if we get spread out. Paces tend to vary with climbs and descents. Faster riders are welcome to go ahead and the group will wait for slower riders, within reason. Please send a message or post a comment if you are unsure if this is a good ride for you or if you have any other questions.
