Ride Description:

Join us for a ride from Edmonds to Snohomish and Woodinville on a 54 mile route at a Moderate pace!

Join us for a scenic ride to Snohomish.  The route starts in Edmonds and travels north to Paine Field before dropping down to the Snohomish River.  With views of the Cascades, we ride along the river valley to Snohomish.  We will stop at the Snohomish Bakery for a short break.  From there we continue to Woodinville and pick up the Sammamish River and Burke Gilman trails with a climb up Perkins Way on our way back to Edmonds.

Let's meet at the Edmonds City Park at 9:15 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:30.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup after hills. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 24 and 39.  We’ll also have a short stop for coffee/snacks at Snohomish Bakery at mile 24.

The planned route/cue sheet is at the link below. The goal is to stay together via regrouping as necessary, but we won’t be able to wait long for anyone substantially off the pace. Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own, as the ride becomes self-led for those ahead of or behind the group.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
