Ride Description:

Please note: During COVID-19 restrictions, all Free Group Rides are limited in the number of allowed participants. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.

Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and tissues for use at rest stops.

We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.

Join us for a ride from the middle parking lot between the Regal Auburn Theater and Walmart on a 26 mile route at steady pace at 12-14mph!

That's right, you heard it! If we have rain or shine on Saturday we are riding.

We will begin our ride in the small parking area between both locations that are mentioned above. The reason for this is that the movie theater is temporarily closed due to restrictions from COVID-19. We will ride through downtown Auburn riding two abreast. We will proceed through the Green Valley Road until we reach the state park. Our rest stop will be at Flaming Geyser State Park.

Let's meet at the start at 10:45 to get ourselves ready and to listen to our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at our mid way destination.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

If for any reason you need to get a hold of me, email is the best way! I am getting a phone replacement the night of tomorrow's ride (Same Number).

If anyone is interested and would like to join, I will grab a coffee and a treat after the ride at Panera Bread (Close to RedRobin).

Well, for some reason it says I cna't put a link in comments, which makes no sense when there is clearly a link tool. Anyway, I did post the Relive video on the Facebook group.
