KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Let's meet at the end of 14th Ave NW in Ballard (near NW 45th Street intersection and boat launch) to start a ride around Discovery Park and Magnolia. There is plenty of parking on that street at end of road. When ride is over there will be optional outing at Drunkys Two Shoe BBQ on Leary Ave very close to the ride end. We will snag a table on the deck for one of our last summer nights! We will regroup at top of every hill for a reasonable time. Please bring your own cue sheet. Please pack water, snack, and tools/tubes to fix a flat as always. Even though the majority of ride will be in daylight, please have your lights (both front and back) just in case of unforeseen holdups. There is no scheduled stop en route and no facilities at the start. 4pm is roll out time, so please be at the start, ready to ride no later than 3:45pm.
Weather notice: In case of inclement weather, the ride leader will post a cancellation notice in the comments section below by 2pm day of the ride, and Ride Leaders will not be at the ride start.
