Please join us for a ride around Lake Sammamish! This is a good early season route, a great way to get those legs moving!
Beginning riders are extremely welcome! However, you should be prepared to maintain a Steady pace: 12-14 mph on level ground, and you should be prepared to ride about 20 miles on gently hilly terrain. If you get separated from the group, you may need to find your way back alone, so you should know how to read a cue sheet, or have the route loaded on a bike computer or mobile phone.
Rest stops: We'll regroup occasionally, and we will include a stop at Tully’s in Issaquah to refuel and socialize in the middle. There is a restroom at the start, but there is no place to fill water bottles (it’s a portable restroom), so please do that before coming to the start.
Weather: Showers will result in a cancellation, and the ride leader will post this information here at least two hours before the start of the ride. If showers start after that, we could still cancel at the start as well.
Wet roads: Please come with long fenders, including a buddy flap, if the roads are wet. Without them, you will be asked to ride in the back of the group.
Mechanical issues: You should also be prepared to change a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. The group will generally not stop for repairs.
Registration: Please sign the electronic waiver above. This saves time at the start of the ride. Use the "Register" button, which will only be available after you log in. I will print the eWaiver at around 9am, so please sign it before then.
Note: Please show up to the ride start at least 20 minutes early, so you can sign a waiver and ensure you are ready to go when we leave the starting point promptly at 6:00pm.
Mentoring: This is a mentored ride for Mari Morgan, please come out and show your support!

not on Cascade's calendar?
Hi, I found this ride through the meetup site; it doesn't appear to be listed on Cascade's calendar view page.
thank you
This is fixed.
today's weather
Don't give up on the weather! There is a big open spot on the radar heading toward Redmond. We should be able to sneak in this ride!
