Ride Description:

Ride SLOW with Senior Ladies on Wheels the last Saturday of every month. We explore neighborhoods in Central Seattle, Beacon Hill, Capitol Hill and beyond, riding neighborhood greenways, trails and low traffic neighborhood streets.

Everyone welcome, ladies and gentlemen, old and young, and everyone in between - as long as you ride SLOW! No one will be left behind - the slowest rider sets the pace. And there's no shame in getting off and walking a block or so.

We'll stop for lunch along the way; expect to spend about 3 hours traveling approximately 10 miles each ride. Weather won't cancel, but if it's pouring rain we might make it a shorter ride. Details will be posted in the comments before each month's ride.

We'll ride SLOW to tour playgrounds for grownups in Central Seattle and Montlake.  It's the grand opening today of the Fitness Zone for grownups at Powell-Barnett Park, so we'll stop by the celebration for a cookie and a bit of non-biking exercise; then we'll check out the adult play equipment at Montlake Playfield, the Atlantic Street Park and the Seattle Childrens' Play Garden. We'll stop for lunch along the way.  As always, the slowest rider sets the pace; rain won't cancel but could lead to a shorter ride.  Here's the route on Map My Ride:
