Join King County, the
Eastside Rail Corridor Regional Council, elected officials, Cascade Bicycle Club and other agencies this Saturday, March 30, to celebrate King County’s
long-sought-after acquisitions along nearly 20 miles of the Eastside Rail Corridor.
These acquisitions are an important step in preserving the Corridor for multiple near- and long-term uses and calls for a celebration!
Open house activities will include interactive exhibits about the corridor, activities for children, snacks and refreshments and short tours of a corridor section available using a high-rail vehicle provided by Sound Transit.
The open house celebration event is scheduled alongside the corridor at Seahawks Headquarters&Training Facility,
12 Seahawks Way, Renton.
Schedule will be as follows:
-1:30p.m.– Open House
-2:00 p.m.– Officials’ Comments
-2:30-3:30p.m.– Social Program
