University Bridge maintenance notice

Next Monday through Wednesday, June 25 - 27, a Seattle Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crew will be working under the University Bridge.  Each day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the right lane must be closed northbound in order for bicyclists to use that curb lane while an Under Bridge Inspection Truck (UBIT) will be stationed in the sidewalk in a position to lower the workers down and under the bridge. The sidewalk will remain open so pedestrians can pass by under the truck crane.  Motorists should plan on slow moving traffic across the bridge.
