Thanks for all of your support as we try to pass the Vulnerable User Bill in Washington. We had a successful hearing last week, when dozens of supporters came to Olympia in support of making our streets safer for bicyclists, pedestrians, children and older adults, and all users of our streets. Our work is not yet done. The bill must be voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committe TODAY by 5:00 to remain viable this session. Sens. Pam Roach, Bob McCaslin, Debbie Regala, Jim Hargrove or Mike Carrell could be the one crucial "YES" vote to pass this bill, SB 5838, through the judiciary committee. Please take a moment to call their offices to tell your story and encourage these senators to sign in favor of the Vulnerable User Bill. Who do you know in these districts who can call their senator? Friends, family, colleagues... We need people from within the districts who can make a difference TODAY. Pam Roach 31st Dist. It does not aim to punish drivers, but to educate them and keep chronic offenders from causing more harm. We need these votes from the Senate Judiciary Committee within only a few hours to move the bill forward - please take a moment to call or email and share your concern.
