FRIDAY RIDERS: Eastside Ride to Medina**EARLY START at 9AM** (Leisurely)

**Note: ride starts at 9 am.** Grab your bike and join me on a leisurely paced ride (with hills) from Wayne Park Bothell. Free parking and portable toilet available near the parking lot.

We start out cycling on Kirkland roads following Lake Washington Blvd for 7.7 miles. Connect to the hilly 520 trail and follow to Evergreen Point Rd. The ride leader will wait at the top of hills for everyone to catch up. Diverge to Medina’s upscale neighborhood and enjoy cycling past beautiful homes and gardens looping around the Overlake Golf Club. Return to Kirkland and follow Lake Washington Blvd to Zoka Cafe in Kirkland for a coffee/food/social stop, so bring money or credit card if you wish to purchase snacks. Continue uphill on Market Street and back to the start of the ride.
There are hills on this ride so low gears are a bonus!

Carry a full water bottle with you and snacks. Please bring spare tube, patch kit and CO2 inflation or pump to fix a flat, if necessary.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed in the Weather Status or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
