Course Description
This hands-on course is designed to teach the basics of strength training and stretching that can benefit your bicycling. Staff from PT Solutions will teach and demonstrate a few basic strength training exercises and stretches that riders of all levels can incorporate into their routine. The goal of the strength training and stretching is to build an athletic foundation to supplement bicycling training, and prevent injuries that can occur with cycling.
Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites to this class. If you would like to try some of the strength training exercises or stretches with the oversight of staff from PT Solutions, we recommend you wear clothing you are comfortable moving in. Class attendees are not required to perform any exercises or stretches during the class.
Location & Contact
This class will take place in the auditorium at the Cascade Bicycle Club office. Please arrive about 5 minutes early to get settled before the class. Please email Max Ackermann (maxa@cascade.org) with any questions.
