Lynnwood-Everett Loop (Steady)

Join us for a ride from Lynnwood to Everett and back on a 40 mile route at a Steady (12-14 mph average on flat ground) pace!

We will meet at ground level on the north side of the Lynnwood City Center light rail station near the hummingbird sculpture (20122 46th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036). Bicycle access is from the nearby Interurban Trail. Parking can be found in adjacent parking lots. Transit access is from Sound Transit's 1 Line light rail and a variety of bus routes serving the nearby Lynnwood Transit Center.

Please be ready to ride at 1:00 PM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that’s done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.

We will ride the Interurban Trail into Everett and do a loop around Everett before returning via the Interurban Trail. We will take restroom breaks at Martha Lake Airport Park (mile 6.1 & 34.1) & restroom/snack break at American Legion Memorial Park in Everett (mile 20.2). The nearest restroom to the start/finish is at the Shell gas station at 200th St SW & 44th Ave SW.

The route is mostly on paved roads and trails.

Please note: this ride is expected to last around 4 hours (estimated finish by 5:00 pm).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
