Issaquah-Marymoor-Kirkland-Medina-Enatai

Summer won't last forever. We'll start early on a warm day and meet at the parking lot near the Tibbetts Valley Skatepark. Restrooms and water are located at the nearby Tibbetts Valley Park off of 12th Ave NW, and can be easily accessed by bike.  Please be ready to ride at 8:30am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. 

This is one of my favorite routes, as it is scenic and has low traffic. I will brief participants before the ride about the overall route. We will make minimal stops and regroup when necessary.

Riders significantly off the group pace should be prepared to complete the ride solo. Riders should download the route file into a GPS device. Also be prepared to complete the ride on your own, should your bike require a time-consuming repair. The group will stop briefly to ensure you are okay, but will not wait for repairs to be completed if they take more than a few minutes. Please have a backup plan if you are unable to ride to the finish.

There will be no food stop. We'll make one quick stop at scenic Medina Beach Park for water and restrooms at the 22.6 mile mark of the route.  

As a reminder, per Cascade policy, e-bikes are not permitted on Vigorous-paced rides.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
