Join us for an unhurried social ride from Redmond. This is a winding, 30-mile, Steady paced (12-14mph) route through Redmond, Bellevue. and Beaux Arts Village, returning through Microsoft’s Main Campus after lunch. There are hills, but we climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a Steady pace and regroup at the top. We’ll make a brief loop through Bellevue’s scenic Vuecrest neighborhood, then pass through Meydenbauer Beach Park.
Restrooms are available at the start. We’ll have a restroom stop at mile 13 and lunch at Dilettante Mocha Café at mile 19.
Let’s meet at East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (near Whole Foods Market) in Redmond. Please be ready to ride at 10:00 a.m. We’ll start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group. If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We hope you can join us!
