Free Group Ride
CTS Red #5: Green Lake - Perkins - Sunset
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
This week's ride departs from the east parking area of the Lower Woodland Park Ball Fields between Soccer Field #2 and the south Baseball Field. Restrooms are available at the start.
Because the 520 bridge will be completely closed this weekend (including the bike trail) we have a new route with some climbing to challenge you, and hopefully a beautiful Sound view as a reward.
Rest stops will be at Log Boom park (mp 14) and Sandel Park (mp 25), with an optional stop at Echo Lake (mp 19) in case of need.
Please be ready to ride at 9:00 am when we will start the SMART briefing and ride announcements. Plan to arrive early as the sports fields may be busy and to give yourself plenty of time to get ready. We will roll out after the briefings. You must be present for the briefing to ride with the group.
The route is subject to change before the ride, so please check on Friday evening to be sure you have downloaded the latest version.
Please also keep an eye on your email inbox for any announcements.
If we have steady rain, or if there are any other hazardous or unforeseen conditions or events, the Ride Director will cancel the ride and send email to all registered riders. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
We look forward to riding with you!
