Ride from Renton to Alki

Come join us on a relaxed 35-mile ride from Burnett Linear Park in downtown Renton to Alki beach. We’ll ride along the Green River and Duwamish trails through South Park to our mid-point coffee break at Starbucks at Alki.  We’ll return via the same route. The ride will take about 3.5 hours including a 20-minute break at Alki.  A GPS route map and cue sheet are at the Link, below.  Please be ready to ride at 11:00 am when we will do the safety briefing and get on the road. 

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:  If you are not present and ready when we start the safety briefing, you will not be allowed to participate. 

Stops: Foster Links Golf Course (mile 3.7) for brief restroom stop, Alki Starbucks (mile 17) for 20 minutes for coffee and pastries.

Please bring: ID, tools and spare tube(s) to fix flats, and phone. 

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-cancelled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
