Let’s meet at the west end of the Fauntleroy ferry dock by 7:35 (to catch the 7:50 ferry to Vashon). I'll cover the required safety briefing during the ferry ride.
We’ll ride many of the hills of Vashon Island, starting from the ferry terminal and following most of the route of the Passport to Pain. We’ll stop briefly at Dockton Park to fill up on water and consume a snack; otherwise, there will be no specific food stop on this ride. So please bring plenty of nutrition and two water bottles for such a long hilly ride. The link below shows the route of the ride.
Note: If there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, I will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and not go to the start location.
What to Know Before You Go
- Advance registration required. Cancel if unable to attend, to open space for others.
- Must be present at safety briefing to participate.
- Helmets required.
- Riders under 18 years old require parental consent & approval from the Ride Leader.
