Kirkland Social - Kirkland Bellevue Bridle Trails

Join us for a social ride from Heritage Park in downtown Kirkland.  This is a hilly 29.3 mile, Steady Pace (12-14mph) route south through Kirkland and Bellevue with a rest stop at Meydenbauer Bay Park, mile 10.3 and a food/snack stop at Starbucks, Snyders Corner, mile 21.5.   There are hills, but we climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a steady pace and regroup at the top.   Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will stop for restrooms/water at Marina Park, mile 0.3.  Parking is limited at Heritage Park but there is ample room on Waverly Way adjacent to the park. 

Let's meet at Heritage Park and please be ready to ride at 11:00am.   We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.  If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
