Kirkland Social - Rose Hill, Totem Lk, Redmond, Clyde Hill

Join us for a social ride from Heritage Park in downtown Kirkland.  This is a 32 mile, Steady Pace (12-14mph) route through Kirkland, Totem Lake natural area, Redmond and Clyde Hill with a rest stop at Totem Lake park at mile 12.3 and a food/snack stop at Hoffman's in Redmond at mile 18.5.   There are hills, but we climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a steady pace and regroup at the top.   Restrooms are not available at the start, but we will stop for restrooms/water at Marina Park, a few blocks from the start.  Parking is limited at Heritage Park but there is ample room on Waverly Way adjacent to the park. 

Let's meet at Heritage Park and please be ready to ride at 11:00am.   We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.  

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
