Renton Cedar River/Jones Road EZ-PZ

Leisurely-pace ride from the Downtown Renton Library parking lot on a 14-mile route at a leisurely pace between 10-14 MPH!

This Leisurely-pace ride begins at the Old Renton City Hall/Downtown Library parking lot and moves east along the scenic Cedar River Trail. At 156th Pl. SE the route takes a quick northbound turn to join SE Jones Road. The river and wooded ride then winds along riverside homes and an amazing horse acreage to the Maple Valley Highway. A quick right turn onto the highway shortly rejoins the Cedar River Trail and proceeds to finish back at the starting point.

Let's meet at the Library/Old City Hall parking lot and please be ready to ride at 7:00 p.m. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together with occasional regroups, when necessary. We'll also limit our speed on the regulated multi-use path within the Renton City limits to the legal maximum of 10 MPH until we reach 156th Pl. SE. 

Restrooms are available near the start. There is also a restroom at Riverview Park, as well as port-a-potties at Ron Regis Park, which can be used, if necessary. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the group's rear.
