All Blue/Green Riders should be ready to ride at 9:00 am at Renton Old City Hall. You should arrive with enough time to unload your bike and if needed use the restrooms located in nearby at Cedar River Park, the same location when we were here for the full lake loop ride.
Blue/Green Ride #5 of the Cascade Training Series takes us on a 70-mile ride from Renton Old City Hall to The Black Diamond area with tasty bakery items available at the Black Diamond Bakery lunch stop. The view at our second rest stop at Lake Meridian is grand and if we are lucky the view of Mount Rainer is beautiful from the park near the Black Diamond Bakery. We will wind our way through quiet rural roads in South King County plus a nice ride back through Green Valley and along the Green River. There will be restroom stops at the following points during the ride.
