Free Group Ride
CTS Red #5: Two Bridges over Lake Washington
Event has already happened.
This week's ride departs from the east parking area of the Lower Woodland Park Ball Fields between Soccer Field #2 and the south Baseball Field. We will combine roads and trails we have ridden previously with a few new ones to complete a mid-Lake Washington loop using the 520 and I-90 bridges. This week's ride will be about the same elevation and distance as last week.
Porta-potties and restrooms with water are available at the start. Our rest stop for water and restrooms will be at Aubrey Davis Park on Mercer Island at mile 17.3.
Please be ready to ride at 9:00 am when we will start the SMART briefing and ride announcements. Plan to arrive early as the sports fields will be busy and to give yourself plenty of time to get ready. We will roll out after the briefings. Riders not present for the safety briefing will not be allowed to ride with the group.
Please review the Comments Section before the morning of the ride for any final updates. The route may be updated there as well as weather updates and cancelations.
