**CANCELLED** TREATS: Redmond – Factoria – Kirkland / 11 a.m. Start

Join us for a ride from Redmond on a 32.5-mile route at a Steady pace (12-14 mph on flat terrain, your own pace uphill).  Most of the ride will be through quiet neighborhoods with an emphasis on avoiding heavy traffic.  Restrooms are available at the start.  We’ll stop along the way for restrooms and water, with lunch at Queen Bee Café (Mile 20) in Clyde Hill.

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead just west of Whole Foods in Redmond. The entrance to the Trailhead's parking lot is near 17611 NE 70th St. Please be ready to ride at 11 a.m. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing, you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills with each rider at their own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally, and at the top of each long hill.  However, we won’t be able to wait long for anyone substantially off the pace.  Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own.  We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
