Join us for a social ride north through Kirkland, Bellevue, and Madison Park This is a 35.2 mile route with a restroom stop at Mile 12.5 (Bellevue Downtown Park) and a coffee/food stop at Mile 22.3 (Madison Park Starbucks). There are hills, but we climb them with a commensurate level of effort of a steady pace and regroup at the top, but we won’t be able to wait long for anyone substantially off the pace. Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own. Porto-Pot at the start. Park at south end of parking lot.
Meet at Crestwoods Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you may not be able to ride with the group. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. If you wish to join along the route, please contact us to arrange a meeting point where we can stop and give you the safety briefing.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
