Fall Ride - Figure 8 loop of Mercer Island, Seattle and Bellevue

Join me for one of my favorite loops.  We will do a figure 8 loop starting on Mercer Island heading clockwise towards Seattle.  We will ride along Lake Washington and ride through the Arboretum.  We will cross the 520 floating bridge and ride through Medina.  Restroom break will be at mile 12.  From there we will ride into Bellevue and cross back onto Mercer Island.  Lunch stop will be at Einstein's Bagels.  After lunch, we will do a counterclockwise loop of Mercer Island. 

Let's meet at the at the parking area of Aubrey Davis Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00 AM. There are restrooms just inside the park near the ball fields. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. Although the ride has 1800 feet of climbing, most of it is small hills. With that said, ride leader is very slow climbing hills, so you don't have to worry about getting dropped on hills.  We will regroup at the top of hills.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
