Free Group Ride
TREATS: Sixty Acres – Eastern Forests
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a 33.5-mile social ride starting at Sixty Acres South Field north of Redmond. We’ll ride up Hollywood Hill and pass through the Cottage Lake area on the way to the Novelty Hill QFC for a half-hour lunch break (Mile 17). We’ll return through Redmond Ridge East, Union Hill, and Marymoor Park.
Let’s meet in the lot in the far southeast corner of Sixty Acres Park. Please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing, you may not be able to ride with the group. Restrooms are available at the start, but not water.
The planned route/cue sheet is at the link below. The goal is to stay together via occasional regroups, but we won’t be able to wait long for anyone substantially off the pace. Please bring navigation aids in case you need to finish on your own, as the ride becomes self-led for those ahead of or behind the group.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
