**CANCELLED** Fall Ride from West Seattle to Discovery Park and Magnolia

Join us for a ride from West Seattle to Discovery Park and Magnolia on a 30 mile route at a steady pace.

This route will take us along Alki and then over to East Marginal Way (Alaskan Way) cycling the waterfront.  We will then take the Elliott Bay Bicycle Trail and then head to and through Discovery Park.  We will then ride a loop of Magnolia and have lunch at Starbucks in Magnolia.  Route back will be along the waterfront back to Alki.  Hopefully we will see some fall colors while cycling through Discovery Park.

Let's meet at the 61st and Alki at the Statue of LIberty and please be ready to ride at 10:00 am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to re-group at tops of hills.  There are only 3 main hills on this route as other parts of the route is relatively flat with a couple little rolling hills.

Restrooms are available one block from the start. We will have a restroom stop at mile 9 and then at lunch and optional stop on the way back as well. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
