**CANCELLED** Edmonds to Norway Hill and Innis Arden

Join us for a ride from Edmonds City Park on a trip to Norway Hill returning through Innis Arden and Richmond Beach.  The 40 mile route is at a Moderate Pace 14-16 MPH!

Leaving Edmonds we’ll take in a quick view of the Sound and Olympic Mountains and ride up and out of the Edmonds bowl via Meadowdale Beach Rd.. We then head down to Lake Washington and the Burke Gilman. At the lake we head over to Norway Hill. After completing our climb up Norway Hill we'll take a direct route back to the Burke Gilman. The return to Edmonds includes a ride up Perkins Way, then on to Innis Arden and Richmond Beach ending with a nice descent back to Edmonds City Park. 

There are bathrooms available at the start and at  Blyth Park mile 19 and Log Boom mile 26 .  Water is available at these stops.

There are no planned meal stops on this route so please bring snacks for during the ride.

Let's meet at Edmonds City Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.  

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup after hills. If maintaining the pace is difficult for a rider, the rider may have to continue the ride on their own.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.  

AIR QUALITY Please check the ride posting the morning of the ride.  The ride maybe canceled if there is questionable air quality.
