Autumn Ride in Beautiful Enumclaw

Join us for a ride from Enumclaw on a 30 mile route at a moderate pace (14-16 mph). We will ride the quiet, beautiful country roads of Enumclaw. It will be a 30 mile route without a mid-break stop. 

Enumclaw offers spectacular views of Mount Rainier, beautiful scenic farmland and wildlife. We can stop at Starbucks at the end of our ride as we return to Enumclaw. The Starbucks is optional as it is located just a block from our start/end.

Please be ready to ride at the ride start time. We will start introductions and a safety briefing and we will begin riding when that's done. Only riders who are there for the safety briefing @ 10:00 a.m. will be able to join us on the ride. 

The ride is mostly flat with a few small short rolling hills and one decent climb. 

Restrooms and water are available at the start inside the QFC. Make sure you have plenty to drink and a snack or two. Sunday is forecasted to be a warm sunny autumn day. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case, and have a plan for getting home or back to the start in case you or your bike are unable to finish the route.

PLEASE DON'T JOIN THE RIDE IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
