Blyth Park Snohomish Bakery

Join us for a ride from Blyth Park on a 42.6 mile route at moderate pace (14-16 mph) on hilly terrain!

We will ride past the UW campus through North Creek, Mill Creek, then descending to Lowell Latimer Rd. We then follow the Snohomish River into Snohomish for some tasty treats at the Snohomish Bakery. We will return through Cathcart, Maltby and Woodinville.

Let's meet at Blyth Park and please be ready to ride at 9:30AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for an optional restroom break at mile 13. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at the Snohomish Bakery at mile 25. There is an optional restroom break on the return trip at Maltby Baseball Fields at mile 33.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

NOTE: The air quality has been poor lately, but changes quickly. The Ride Leader may cancel the ride if the air quality is poor.
