**CANCELLED** Farrel-McWhirter Loop de Loop

We will start from the first parking lot upon entering Farrel-McWhirter Park on a 17 mile ride through the area east of Avondale Rd. in Redmond, head toward Avondale Rd then access Union Hill Rd, turning onto Evans Creek trail then on up into Redmond Ridge via community connectors with lunch break at Village at Redmond Ridge.  Then down Trilogy Parkway turning onto 232nd and left into Lake of the Woods, circling around to 133rd and down to Hedges and back to Farrel-McWhirter Park via another community connector.  

Please be ready to ride at 10a.m.. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.   We'll limit our speed on Evans Creek Trail to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).  Also, we will be only on snippets of Novelty Hill and Union Hill and both have shoulders wide enough for bikes.

Restrooms and water are available at the start in the park and halfway along the ride at our lunch break at Village at Redmond Ridge.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
