Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a 46 mile gravel ride from Carnation to Rattlesnake Lake. The ride is mostly on the gravel surface Snoqualmie Valley Trail with a brief section on paved roads where the trail is incomplete. This is a moderate paced ride,14-16mph on the paved sections and an equivalent effort on the gravel sections.
Let's meet at Nick Loutsis Park in Carnation. Please be ready to ride at 9:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
This route is "out and back", mostly uphill (gradual 1-2%) on the way out, and mostly downhill on the way back.
A portable restroom but no water is available at the start. We will stop for restrooms/water at Centennial Fields Park at miles 12.7 on the way out and 33.3 on the way back . There are no food stops on the route. Bring enough food for the ride based on your individual needs.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat and make minor repairs. Since we are off the road, it may be a long walk to get a ride home.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
