Queen Anne, Wedgwood & Phinney Ridge

Join us as we bike through the neighborhoods of Queen Anne, Wedgwood, Ravenna, Green Lake, and Phinney Ridge.  Along the way, we will have several steep climbs, some short sections of dirt trail, and some stops at some very nice viewpoints.  In Queen Anne, we will be riding up a paved trail in David Rodgers Park with a grade in excess of 30% (peak grade 37%).  The trail is not that long, so it can easily be walked up by those not wishing to ride it.  The viewpoint stops for the ride will be at Kerry Park, the Queen Anne Cascade View, and at Fremont Peak Park.  We will also have a quick stop at Wedgwood Rock.  There will be re-groups at the tops of all hill climbs.  

Let's meet in the parking lot at Gas Works Park and please be ready to ride at 5:45 PM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

Please come prepared to fix minor mechanical issues (like a flat tire).  

Restrooms are available at the start. 

Note: If there is a significant possibility of rain or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
