Woodinville-Lake Sammamish Loop

Join us for a fun ride from Woodinville on a 45 mile and 1,600' elevation route at a moderate pace of 14-16 MPH.

The route will take us from the Woodinville Sports Field around scenic Lake Sammamish, through Redmond and back to the start. We have our toilet and water stops at Lake Sammamish State Park at mile 18 and Perrigo Park at mile 32.

Let's meet at the Woodinville Sports Field Parking Lot and be ready to ride at 8:30 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.  Please remember if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms or are generally not feeling well you should not participate in this or other group rides.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace and regroup at the top of each hill our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum 15 MPH.

Restrooms, water and parking are available at the start. Please bring enough food and snacks for the ride.

Bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails.  If roads are wet, the roostertails from bare tires are a safety and comfort issue for other riders.  Fenders with long mudflaps are very highly recommended - otherwise you will be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
