Edmonds to Innes Arden 3

Join us for a ride from Edmonds City Park  on a 21.7 mile route at a Moderate Pace 14-16 MPH.

The route is a hilly ride with many views of the Sound and Olympic Mountains starting in Edmonds. To warm up we’ll travel north and take in views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains on our way to Meadowdale Beach Rd. After our climb up Meadowdale we head south toward Innes Arden with more ups and downs along the way. After traveling through Innes Arden, we head back to Edmonds stopping at Richmond Beach for another view of the Olympics and Sound. We will regroup after major hills. This is a great conditioning ride to get you in shape for longer summer rides.

Let's meet at Edmonds City Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group. Note: entrance to the Park is on 3rd Ave. The parking lot is the gravel lot down the hill on the right.

There are restrooms and water at the start.  There are no planned restroom or food stops on this ride so please plan accordingly.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup after hills . 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
