TREATS: Climb to Snoqualmie Falls, then ride to Carnation

Join us for a ride from Fall City on a 30 mile route at steady pace (12-14 mph on flat terrain).

We will pick up the Snoqualmie Valley Trail and ride about 5 miles on it to get to Snoqualmie Falls.   The trail is gravel and appropriate for any bike with tires 28 mm or larger.  The climb is surprisingly gradual.  We will stop at Snoqualmie Falls for a restroom break and to view the falls.  From there, we will ride downhill on the paved road, traverse Fall City, and ride through the valley on paved roads to Remlinger Farms for lunch, then return to Fall City.

Let's meet at the Fall City Community Park and please be ready to ride at 10 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.  We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are (portapotty only without water) available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles approx 8.  We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Remlinger Farms.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
